- Usage Data: Aggregated data regarding usage patterns, performance, and functionality to help improve our Software.

In compliance with Texas and U.S. privacy laws, collected data is used to:
- Authenticate and License: Validate device authorization and ensure compliance using MAC addresses.
- Enhance Functionality: Provide seamless integrations, improve user experience, and address technical issues.
- Customer Support and Compliance: Support technical needs and ensure regulatory compliance.

DocuMee implements industry-standard measures to protect your data in line with TPPA and U.S. data protection requirements, including encryption, access controls, and regular audits. Data retention follows regulatory and service needs, ensuring secure storage.
5 Data Sharing and Disclosure
- Service Providers: Engaging third parties for essential services such as cloud storage or support under confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance: Disclosure as required by law, regulation, legal processes, or governmental requests.
- Business Transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales, data may be transferred with prior notice for user awareness.

6 Your Rights under Texas and U.S. Law

- Request Data Deletion: Under specific conditions, you may request deletion of personal data. Requests are honored per legal compliance.
7 Intellectual Property and Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in and to DocuMee, including trademarks, software, and content, are owned by DocuMee. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use DocuMee in line with this Agreement. Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.
8 License Scope and Restrictions
By accepting this Agreement, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DocuMee as outlined.
Prohibited Uses: Users may not:
- Reverse engineer or modify DocuMee.
- Misuse third-party integrations or violate third-party terms.
- Engage in illegal or unauthorized use of DocuMee.
9 Service Availability and Support
While DocuMee strives to ensure uninterrupted service, 100% uptime is not guaranteed. Users are provided support via our support channels listed in the Contact Information section.
10 Compliance with U.S. and Texas Privacy Laws
DocuMee complies with the Texas Privacy Protection Act (TPPA) and applicable federal privacy laws, including:
- Data Collection Transparency: Users will be notified about the nature and purpose of collected data.
- Data Security Standards: Industry-standard encryption and controls protect all sensitive data.
- CCPA Compliance (if applicable): While DocuMee is based in Texas, users based in California have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to opt-out of certain data sharing and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
11 Updates to Terms
DocuMee reserves the right to modify this Agreement. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of DocuMee following any change constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
12 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permissible by Texas and U.S. law, DocuMee disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
13 Indentification
You agree to identify DocuMee and its affiliates from claims or damages arising out of misuse or violation of third-party rights.
14 Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by Texas state laws and applicable U.S. federal regulations. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
15 Termination
DocuMee reserves the right to terminate access to the Service at its discretion for any violation of this Agreement. Upon termination, your license immediately ceases, with any obligations under this Agreement surviving termination.
